Careers
Global team, shared purpose.
Join Neuromatch's global distributed remote first core team, working alongside a community of volunteers and contractors to help deliver Neuromatch's mission of expanding access to high-quality computational science training and research opportunities.
How we work
We’re a high-trust, low-hierarchy organisation where people can do their best work from anywhere:
Fully remote and highly flexible, with shared expectations around responsiveness and collaboration.
Weekly Core Team meetings: team members are expected to be available to join.
Globally distributed team, working across time zones and countries including the US, Canada, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, and Southeast Asia.
We can hire in most countries worldwide through an Employer of Record (EoR) setup.
We work in a matrix, cross-collaborative way across programmes and functions.
We collaborate closely with a wider global network of volunteers and contractors who help deliver Neuromatch’s mission at scale.
Benefits & perks
We aim to offer competitive, globally scaled compensation and benefits that support our team’s wellbeing and flexibility:
Competitive, globally-adjusted compensation based on cost of living and market rates in your location.
4.5% employer-matched 401(k) or equivalent pension contributions, depending on location.
Health and dental benefits, depending on location.
Unlimited time off / annual leave and paid parental leave.
Flexibility to take your local and religious holidays off.
Year end closure days: usually the last week of year.
Fully remote and highly flexible working.
Professional development opportunities to support you career growth.
Team culture & community
While we’re a remote-first organization, we invest in a strong team culture through regular touchpoints and time to connect in person beyond day-to-day delivery:
Weekly Core Team meetings to stay aligned, support one another, and move work forward together.
Quarterly, virtual team social sessions to build relationships and celebrate achievements.
Annual week-long team retreat to connect in person, strengthen collaboration, and plan for the year ahead (this year we met in Oxford, UK with members of the Board –– including a BBQ, punting, darts, and a walking tour).
Additional opportunities to meet in person at conferences and during in-person program events throughout the year.
We’re committed to creating the best possible online working environment. We continuously reflect on how we work together — and we iterate on our tools, processes, and team practices to strengthen communication, wellbeing, and collaboration.
